We recognize the environmental value of scrap metals. Therefore, our mission is to ensure that that scrap metal is rarely discarded or sent to landfills. In 2005, 13 million tonnes of metal was recycled in the UK. This translates into reductions of as much as 83% in air pollution, 40% in water use, and 76% in water pollution. Trans Metal was a part of that recycling process.
